Employee Assistance Counseling

Ms. Blacher-Reich is contracted with over 20 national Employee Assistance Companies throughout the country. These companies have contracts with many small and large companies in New Jersey and New York. She provides assessment, referral, and brief counseling to employees who set up appointments through their EAP in the workplace. She also provides mandatory sessions to an employee upon the request of the EAP Company. Immediate crisis intervention services are provided to the companies and employees following critical events in the workplace. Examples include providing support for victims of 9-11-01, follow-up and support to employees after an armed bank robbery, downsizing intervention, and grief counseling following an unexpected death in the workplace. She has also provided in house seminars on various topics to employees in the workplace.
